(2) The gap between the adjacent main bearings is too large, especially the gap between the last two main bearings and the first two main bearings is too large, and the fracture often occurs at the root of the connecting rod journal of the 2 and 5 cylinders (take a six-cylinder engine as an example). This is because there is a flywheel behind the crankshaft and a belt pulley in front. If the force at both ends of the crankshaft is too heavy, the radial runout is frequent. In addition, the impulse of the front and rear cylinders is broken at the crank arm.

(3) The main bearing is worn too much, loose for a long time, and the fracture occurs in the rear half of the crankshaft.
