2. Inspection of cracks
(1) Oil seepage tapping method: soak the cleaned crankshaft pin in kerosene, take out the crankshaft pin and wipe it clean, sprinkle white powder on the surface, and then tap the crankshaft pin non-working surface along the shaft pin with a hand hammer. If there are obvious crack-like oil marks in the white powder, there are cracks.
(2) magnetic flaw detection method: with the aid of a flaw detector to magnetize the parts, and sprinkle some magnetic powder at the parts where cracks may occur. When the magnetic lines of force pass through the edge of the crack, the magnetic powder will be adsorbed at the crack, thus showing the location and size of the crack.
