If you’re not a professional technician, disassembling and reassembling a motorcycle’s crankshaft can be a very cumbersome process. Of course, for professionals, it’s much easier, as they have the right specialized tools. Today, we’ll walk through the steps of how to do it.
1. Prepare professional tools specifically designed for motorcycles.
II. Remove the cylinder head’s valve train assembly, the cylinder and cylinder liner, the gearshift lever, the magneto flywheel, and the locating pins.
3. Next, remove the starter lever, the right-side cover, and the clutch assembly.
4. Finally, remove the crankshaft by extracting it from the large box.
